Hi Everyone! Now that Valentine’s Day is behind us, we take a look at incorporating the classic heart into everyday projects . One of my favorite ways to do this is by creating custom appliqués! With the choice of size, color, texture, and combinations, the possibilities are endless! Follow along in this tutorial as I show you how to add a heart-shaped appliqué to the pillow from the Snuggle & Store Tote Bag (available at Pixie Faire) . For this project, we’ve also used one of the decorative stitches on the machine, the Blanket Stitch, to sew the finishing stitches! It’s a simple project, and the technique can be applied to a variety of items or garments!
